Port Huron First · St. Clair County, Michigan
A mayor who shows up — on Huron Avenue, in the Northend and Southside, at Pine Grove Park, and on every front porch in between. Built by the people who live here.

Alan Lewandowski
This campaign is about listening to residents, supporting local businesses, strengthening neighborhoods, and making thoughtful decisions that move Port Huron forward.
Our Port Huron
Port Huron sits where Lake Huron narrows into the St. Clair River — the Maritime Capital of the Great Lakes and Michigan's gateway to Canada. It's a city of freighter horns and Friday nights, lighthouse beaches and family-run storefronts, and roughly 28,000 people who look out for each other. This campaign starts with them.

Meet Alan
Alan Lewandowski believes the best ideas for Port Huron come from the people who live here. He isn't running to talk at voters — he's running to listen, learn, and advocate from the neighborhoods up.
From downtown shops to local parks, from first responders to young families, Alan is focused on what actually makes life better in Port Huron.

"Port Huron is more than a city — it's home. I'm running to make sure it stays a place where families thrive, businesses grow, and future generations want to stay."
— Alan Lewandowski

What Gets Better

Leadership Matters
In Port Huron, the mayor is the presiding member of City Council, with one vote and the responsibility to help set the agenda. The mayor can't act alone — and shouldn't. Alan believes leadership is building consensus among council members, partnering with the city manager and city staff, and turning the good ideas residents share into real action.
"Leadership is showing up when it isn't convenient, telling people the truth, and doing what you said you'd do."— Alan Lewandowski
Labor & Working Families
Alan is a UAW member who has served twice as a union steward for his coworkers. He knows what it means to sit across the table and fight for people's wages, safety, and dignity — and he'll bring that same respect for working families to City Hall.
Port Huron works because its tradespeople, first responders, teachers, and plant workers show up every day. Alan is proud to ask for the support of the unions that represent them.

Union & Working Families
Alan is honored to seek the support of Port Huron's local unions and working families. From skilled trades to first responders, educators, and public employees, he believes the people who keep this city running deserve a mayor who listens to them first.
Endorsements will be announced as they are confirmed by the campaign and each organization. If your union or labor organization would like to stand with this campaign, add your support below.
Working for Every Neighborhood
